Fenna Craenmehr

Fenna obtained her bachelor in Medical Sciences and Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she proceeded with her master Biomedical Engineering in the group of Prof. Dr. Ir. Luc Brunsveld. For her master thesis, Fenna worked on investigation of the mechanism behind phosphopeptide binders to 14-3-3 utilizing non-natural peptides. She completed her master’s program with an internship at the University of Zürich in the group of Prof. Dr. Nina Hartrampf. Here, she used native chemical ligation for the flow-based chemical synthesis of proteins. Currently, Fenna is a PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Dr. Dr. Patricia Dankers, where she focuses on the conjugation of proteins and peptides to supramolecular fibers and hydrogels.
