Jingyi Huang
Jingyi Huang received her master’s degree in polymer chemistry and biomedical engineering in Wuhan University (China). During her master’s she performed experimental work in the Key Laboratory of Biomedical Polymers of Ministry of Education focusing on biodegradable reductive/pH responsive core–shell microgels for drug delivery. After she completed her master degree, she started her PhD in the Netherlands. She performed her PhD research in polymer chemistry and bioengineering at Groningen University under supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Herrmann. Her work mainly focused on the design and synthesis of functional dyes used for biomedical and life sciences. Jingyi Huang now holds a post-doc position in the group of prof. Patricia Dankers where she works on the design and synthesis of UPy-guest molecules to improve functionalization of biomaterials based on supramolecular chemistry.
