Oleksandr completed his bachelor and master degree in Polymer and Membrane chemistry at the National university of “Kyiv-Mohyla academy” (Kiev, Ukrain). Later he obtained a second master degree in Advanced spectroscopy in Chemistry in a joint program of the University of Lille I and the University of Helsinki. Afterwards, he joined a group of M.J. Vicent in Centro de Investigación Principe Felipe in Valencia to obtain his doctorate degree in Polymer-based drug-delivery systems. He was working on the development of a platform for quick preparation of personalized combination therapy for the treatment of breast cancer with strong emphasis on the preparation of particles with controlled morphology. Oleksandr recently joined the Dankerslab where he works on the development of materials for corneal replacement and regeneration.
