Roos van Hoffe
Roos obtained her bachelor in Medical Sciences and Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she proceeded with her masters Biomedical Engineering. For her master thesis, she focused on the regulated release of iron chelators from a supramolecular hydrogel to create a hypoxia-mimic environment in the group of Prof. Dr. Dr. Patricia Dankers. As part of her masters, she performed an internship at Åbo Akademi University in the group of Prof. Dr. Cecilia Sahlgren. During her internship, she focused on the role of ATM/ATR-mediated Notch1 phosphorylation in breast cancer. Currently, Roos is a PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Dr. Dr. Patricia Dankers, where she will focus on integrating synthetic materials in living systems.
