Saptarshi Chakraborty

Saptarshi Chakraborty received his master degree in organic chemistry from IIT Madras, Chennai in 2014. He did PhD with Professor Suhrit Ghosh at IACS, Kolkata, India. During Ph.D, his research interest was on developing supramolecular donor-acceptor based polymers for biomedical purposes like drug delivery, protein delivery, and antibacterial activity. Then, he moved to the group of Professor Max von Delius at Ulm University, Germany in 2020 and worked there as a Post-Doc on living supramolecular polymers and photocatalysis for Hydrogen evolution. Recently, he joined Prof. Patricia Dankers’s group as a Post-Doc and his research interest is focused on antimicrobial supramolecular polymers.
